About Me: Or, The Purpose of This Blog...

I'm not generally a fan of blogs. I never thought I'd get a blog, but here I am. I'm not here to post about how I clipped my toenails or ate yogurt today. No one cares, least of all me. It's not meant to be personal in any way, although personal aspects do inform my ideas and why I think about the things I do.


I have a lot of ideas. Expansive ideas. I feel like I need a potentially bigger audience than my personal journal or bouncing ideas off of random friends ever so infrequently. This is why I am here: if something I write strikes a nerve or sparks a thought process, I'd love to hear about it. I want a dialogue, not just my own musings being sent off into the empty space of the internet.
